  Part 4 – Others-Minded

“Gospel” means “good news.” The good news is that God chose to deliver people from their sin and its consequences by punishing His own Son in their place.7 The gospel holds out the promise of an everlasting relationship with God rather than the puny pleasures of sin. The gospel message is central to our churchʼs mission. It is through the preaching of this message that the Spirit brings people to faith in Jesus.8 As we go on preaching this good news to ourselves, our lives are continuously transformed by its power, and we live in light of the great gospel assurance of the certainty of eternal life in the presence of God.9

NHBC is always looking for avenues through which to reach out to our community and beyond with the gospel. We are committed to the spread of the gospel message because weʼre continually amazed at seeing the life-changing power of the good news in our own lives. We are gospel-centered.
