Children's Church  Our Children's Church program is divided into 4 sections.  We begin our time together by reviewing past lessons, learning about the exciting events that have happened throughout the week, open with a word of prayer, and then begin with a focused coloring page on the day's lesson.  From there, we move to our lesson and spend time in God's word systematically going from Genesis 1 through Revelation 22.  This 4 year program will provide your children with a complete understanding of all of God's word.  The Next section will harden the lesson goal in your children's mind by working on a themed craft on the lesson.  Our final section together with your boys and girls is to review and learn catechism questions and answers from the Baptist Catechism for Boys and Girls.  There are 145 total questions which span six separate sections.   The first section covers questions concerning God, man, and sin.  Within this section are questions and answers such as:  Question1:  "Who made you?", Answer: "God Made Me" and Question 2:"Why ought you to glorify God?", Answer: "Because He made me and takes care of me". The next section covers questions and answers pertaining to the Ten Commandments.  From there, the boys and girls answer questions in the third section on salvation.  The fourth section teaches about Prayer The fifth section covering the Word, the Church, and the ordinances.  The final section, appropriately enough, provides questions and answers for the Last Things. Lessons are ten to twenty minutes in length and are further supported through the use of applicable crafts, puppets, song, and worship.  The current series is the Book of Daniel found in the prophets section of the Old Testament.  Lessons begining with the New Testament should begin in March and span the next 75 Sundays.   Current Lesson:  Daniel 6 - Daniel and Lions Den Last Week's Lesson:  Daniel 3 - Daniel's Three Friends and the Fiery Furnace (Fiery Furnace craft/lesson - no pdf)
